Jayesh Ranjan is the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) Department, Information Technology (IT) Department of the Telangana government. His assignment involves identifying opportunities of utilizing IT in various government processes, attracting new investments, and promoting digital empowerment of the citizens. A seasoned professional in the broadcast industry, Ronojoy brings with him a diverse experience of over 19 years. Prior to joining SPN, he was the Director, Programming at Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd (Viacom18) for almost a decade. In his role at Viacom18, Ronojoy was responsible for developing and creating content for the Viacom18 kid’s Channels-Nick and Sonic.

Having worked in various creative capacities across many networks, Ronojoy has played an integral role in some of India’s leading organizations like Eenadu network(ETV) as a producer for their regional channels and Zee Network as a promo producer since 1998.

Ronojoy is a graduate in Economics from the University of Delhi. An ardent movie buff, Ronojoy spends his weekends reading books, watching movies and spending time with his dogs!
